Second edition; number 102 in an Edition of 250, numbered and signed by the artist; letterpress printed book bound in blue cloth with navy slipcase. This volume includes a signed screenprint by Ronald King housed in a gray portfolio with a poem, "The Knight's Horse" by Andrew Crozier.

"This edition is divided into twenty separate versions I-XX each of 250 copies signed by the artist. Included in all of these versions is a newly produced lithograph or screenprint by Ronald King inserted into a folder containing a written poem or literary comment related to Chaucer's text...In addition to these versions there fifty books marked Artist Proof with a separate portfolio containing one each of the twenty new prints in their related folders."--Front matter.

"This book has been hand-set and printed letterpress in Monotype Plantin series 110 at Seven Corners Press, Guilford and at Charles Mitchell Ltd., Woking. The original stencils for the prints were prepared by the artist and printed at Loddon Displays, Guildford and Pegasus Print & Display, London. The paper in the book is 190 gsm Queen Anne Antique White and the binding and slip-cases supplied by Webb, Son & Co., Glamorgan, Wales. The separate folders by G. F. Smith & Son are Buckler Light Grey Plain and were hand-set and printed letterpress at Circle Press by Willow King and Walter Taylor. The signed screen-prints were also printed at Circle Press by John Christie and Ronald King on Bockingford 190 gsm and the five lithographs were drawn by the artist from original sketches and printed at Bath Academy of Art by Barry Millard."--Colophon.
