A catalog coinciding with an exhibition at the Palazzo Strozzi, Firenze, displaying the art books created by the Gianninis, a six-generation family of bookbinders from Florence, from 1856 to 1986. It was on display from December 7 - 31 1986. Their history began when Pietro Giannini (1811-1882) opened a small store in Piazza Pitti, in 1856. The sons of of the family continue the family business in the old shop today.
