Richard Minsky
Commercially color offset printed book that was originally published by the Metropolitan Museum in 1976 to commemorate the restoration of the Unicorn Tapestries. Text by Margaret B. Freeman (1899-1980), Curator Emeritus, the Cloisters.

Richard Minsky created a limited artist's edition, case binding for this book, with parcel gilt, embossed forest green leather and an ivory embellishment on front cover; also contains plant fiber flypapers and endpapers. According to Minsky, The Metropolitan subsequently commissioned an edition of 25 of these custom bound books; the first one was signed by Minsky; this copy bears the stamp, "CBA/MMA Edition", indicating that the binding process was not carried out by Minsky, but by apprentices who worked at the Center.
