Printing, Specimens, Advertising layout and typography, New York (State)
Art brochure published in association with the exhibit "Print New York", which ran from Sept. 22-Oct 30, 1971 at the Kodak Gallery and Photo Information Center in NYC. The exhibit was opened by Mayor John V. Lindsay, and sponsored by the
Printers League/Typographical/Pressroom/Bindery Unions.
The exhibit shows how dissemination of the printed word was seminal to New York City's culture, as publishing words with the "New York Look" was then the city's second largest industry. With photos from all over the city, and accompanying text. Includes a printed memo giving information about the exhibit.
