Biographical artists monologue on Marcel Proust, French novelist, critic, and essayist known for his monumental "A la recherche du temps perdu", which is discussed in this text. Proust was a critic of Sainte-Beuve's theory that biography was the most important tool for understanding an artist's work. This volume includes photographs documenting Proust's life, as well as facsimiles of some of his work. The printing of this volume consisted of 200 copies, of which this is copy number 131.
