The first introduces ways to embellish store-bought books and albums with items such as foil, tree bark, copper sheets, handmade papers, and pressed flowers. The second details methods to give plain pages a different look through the use of deckle edging, liquid embossing, envelopes, and collectors’ pockets. The final section explains how to create books and albums ranging from the basic pamphlet, to post- and spiral-bound albums, accordion books, and copper-bound notebooks. All projects are intended to be able to complete without specialized tools or skills, and each contains a detailed materials and equipment list, as well as step-by-step instructions. Also included are a glossary, index, and list of suppliers.
