Description:For more than 30 years, Le Pré Nian has been publishing artists' books, now in national libraries and private collection in several countries. They also offer workshops in etching, silkscreen, typography, etching, woodcut, linocut, and hand-made paper. The organization celebrated its thirtieth anniversary in September 2008 in four places throughout Paris with an exhibition (from November 3-28, 2009) of thirty books made from thirty different writers and artists. The event was accompanied by the publication of this catalog, with a foreword by Kenneth White. Also included are 23 illustrations and a separate 2008 Directory Addendum.
