Catalog for a Gérard Charrière installation at the Jean Jacques Hofstetter gallery on April 15, 2000. Contains artist inscription reading, “For the Center of Book Arts, Gérard Charrière .” Charrière was born in Fribourg in 1935, and settled in the United States in the 60’s. His paintings are three dimensional, often with a very rough texture, and often emphasize the concepts of passage and that “life goes on despite everything”. Artist’s bio included.
