Graphic arts--Periodicals, Education--Graphic methods, Paper art, Printing industry
World Graphics was published once every four months as a quadrimestrial by the Kimberly-Clark paper company between 1962-1964.
"World Graphics is a new venture of Kimberly-Clark. It is published with the intention of showing exemplary work already done, for reference and for inspiration. Each issue will use material from a different country (including our own), but with no intention of being a 'survey' of the work of that country. The examples will often be shown in the size they originally appeared, which is the reason for the large format. Many will be shown in full color when such treatment seems appropriate. The structure of the magazine itself will change, within the same overall size, to demonstrate the effective use of paper and printing.
The wide range of subject matter and means of execution should make World Graphics a useful publication for those concerned with design and those involved in production. That it will serve to promote the vast array of Kimberly-Clark printing papers by demonstrating their virtues is an obvious objective."
