The Bieler Press was founded in 1974 by Gerald Lange. The press offers limited edition fine print books, chapbooks, and broadsides. The Bieler Press is a small printing and publishing firm specializing in studio letterpress, typographic design, and the publication of finely-printed limited edition books and related matter. Historical documentation of the press is held at the University of Minnesota's Bieler Press Archival Materials Collection. Gerald Lange has taught at the Art Center College of Design, The Otis College of Art and Design, and was a master printer at the University of Southern California Fine Arts Press.
