Artistic exploration of the alphabet by Renate Habinger and Linda Wolfsgruber. Contains full-color illustrations representing each letter of the alphabet. Also included is a fold-out pamphlet with illustrations of several letters of the alphabet. Renate Habinger was born in St. Pölten in 1956 and now lives in Oberndorf in Lower Austria. She spent much of early adulthood in Asia learning paper-making, plant dyeing, printing techniques and lacquer work. She received her degree in graphic design from the Federal Teaching and Experimental Institute for Higher Graphics in Vienna, and teaches workshops in papermaking for children, adolescents and adults. Linda Wolfsgruber is an Austrian printmaker and illustrator. She attended the Art School in St. Ulrich in Val Gardena from 1975-1978. She also trained as a typesetter in Munich and as a graphic artist in Bruneck. She later graduated from the "Scuola del Libro" in Urbino, and began working as a freelance illustrator and graphic artist in Brunico and Vienna.
