" 'Made in Bookland' was planned in conjunction with an exhibition at the Brooklyn Museum of Art, 'Working in Brooklyn: Artists Books" which takes place from February 4 to April 16, 2000. Like the Museum's exhibition, this exhibition at Long Island University showcases the work of artists who live or work in Brooklyn... The exhibition at LIU gathers examples from the LIU Artists' Book Collection, books from artists who work in media other than the book, and books from a new generation of artists who are part of the artists' collective known as 'Booklyn'." - Constance Woo, curator
