Description:Bound & Lettered has been published quarterly since 1999. It was previously titled Tabellae Ansatae from 1999 through 2007 when it was renamed. It continues to be published. Bound & Lettered has been edited (in chronological order) by Amanda Trice, Rebecka Fair, and Paul McNeill and published by John Neal in association with the Letter Arts Book Club, Inc. Bound & Lettered contains how-to articles, reviews of exhibitions, discussions of techniques, featured artists' works and favorite tools. The publication relies on its readers for submissions and ideas. "Bound & Lettered was originally founded by Shereen LaPlantz, author of Cover to Cover and The Art & Craft of Handmade Books. Shereen created the magazine to serve as a source of inspiration and information for book artists. When she later became ill with cancer John Neal, Bookseller agreed to continue to publish her magazine. Shereen has since passed away, but we have continued to carry on her legacy -- helping our readers in their creative explorations.
