Description:Tabellae Ansatae was published quarterly from 1999 through 2007 when it was renamed Bound & Lettered. It continues to be published under the title Bound & Lettered. Tabellae Ansatae has been edited by Amanda Trice and John Neal and was published by John Neal in association with the Letter Arts Book Club, Inc. Tabellae Ansatae contains how-to articles, reviews of exhibitions, discussions of techniques, and featured artists' works and favorite tools. The publication relies on its readers for submissions and ideas. "Bound & Lettered was originally founded by Shereen LaPlantz, author of Cover to Cover and The Art & Craft of Handmade Books. Shereen created the magazine to serve as a source of inspiration and information for book artists. When she later became ill with cancer John Neal, Bookseller agreed to continue to publish her magazine. Shereen has since passed away, but we have continued to carry on her legacy -- helping our readers in their creative explorations.
