First Cut is a quarterly newsletter of the Guild of American Papercutters. The Guild was started in 1988 in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Membership to the guild includes a copy of First Cut as well as an invitation to join quarterly meetings. In 2009 the Guild established a Museum dedicated to the art of papercutting in Somerset, Pennsylvania. Additional back issues of First Cut can be ordered from the Guild. "For many members, FirstCut represents the Guild. This places great emphasis on the newsletter as the major link between the Guild and its members. It is a volunteer effort of text and images. Members research papercutting and report findings. Members also submit papercuttings as illustrations for the pages, sometimes including how-to articles. Involvement is open to all who enjoy contributing to its content, production, and growth." - Guild of American Papercutters CBA Holdings Include: Vol. 13 No. 3 Summer 2000 Vol. 13 No. 4 Autumn 2000 Vol. 14 No. 1 Winter 2001 Vol. 14 No. 2 Spring 2001 Vol. 14 No. 4 Autumn 2001 Vol. 15 No. 1 Winter 2002 Vol. 17 No. 1 Winter 2003 Vol. 17 No. 2 Spring 2003 Vol. 17 No. 4 Autumn 2003 Vol. 18 No. 1 Winter 2004 Vol. 18 No. 3 Summer 2003
