Art on Paper was devoted specifically to works on paper including Prints, Drawings, Photographs, Books, Ephemera and was published bimonthly from 1998 through 2004 by Gabriella Fanning. It was published from 2004 through 2009 by Darte Publishing LLC established and edited by Peter Nesbett and Shelly Bancroft. Prior to 1998 the magazine existed as The Print Collector's Newsletter (started in 1968 and edited by Jacqueline Brody) and developed over time from a newsletter, to a journal, to a magazine. In 1996 Gabriella Fanning changed the name from The Print Collector's Newsletter to On Paper and then two years later to Art on Paper.
