Unmuzzled OX was started by poet Michael Andre, and was a late-twentieth-century quarterly containing poetry, art, and politics. The publication ran from 1971 to 2001. Much of the contents consisted of nearly all incoming mail to founder and editor Michael Andre, including correspondence with writers, artists, musicians and others as well as advertising, gallery announcements, circulars and ephemeral publications. This issue features works by Margaret Atwood, Anna Banana, Dan Berrigan, Bill Bissett, George Bowering, June Callwood, J.R. Columbo, Robert Campeau, Roger Caron, Gloria Deitcher, Russell Edson, Ray Johnson, Charles Morrow, Martha Wilson, Kenward Elmslie, and Robert Creeley.
