Issue 7/8, Volume 4, No. 7/8 of Printing History: The Journal of the American Printing Association. Printing History started in 1979 as a scholarly journal published twice a year by The American Printing History Association. Printing History welcomes essays on the history of printing and book arts, regardless of country or time period, and ideally based on primary sources and illustrated. There are also book reviews at the back of many issues. Articles cover the history of printing, publishing, books, type, typography, paper and related industries.
