Created as a companion piece to the 2013 exhibition “Marvelous Freedom / Vigilance of Desire, Revisited” at the Arcade Gallery in Chicago, Illinois. The curators of the exhibition, Alexandra Eregbu with Krista Franklin, Devin Cain, and Camille Morgan, responded to the text by selecting work of contemporary Chicago artists that connected to the manifesto.

The book was produced out of the Center for Book and Paper Arts in collaboration with the Department of Exhibition and Performance Spaces at Columbia College Chicago. Offset printed by Clifton Meador on the Heidelberg GTO. Covers printed letterpress by April Sheridan and Krista Franklin on the Heidelberg Windmill. Designed by Ben Blount using elements from a mask drawn by Krista Franklin. The text is set in Baskerville and Metropolis in 1920. Printed on Mohawk Superfine Ultrawhite text and French Paper Speckletone Kraft cover. Made in an edition 500.
