Accordion book with leatherbound covers. Letterpress and relief on shaped, variable paper handmade from the clothing of landmine victims, minefield plant fibers, and currency of mine-producing nations. Printed two sides in ten sections. Paper title label on front cover. Signed and numbered by the artist. Edition 14 of 30.

"'Boom!' was printed on paper made by the artist from landmine victims' clothing, leftovers from previous landmine prints, and other fibers appropriate or useful. All papers contain shredded currency from the nations that produced or used landmines. Handset letterpress with various typefaces (largely Neuland, Beton Open, Alternate Gothic, Kabel, and Stymie), polymer relief plates, and other relief surfaces were printed on a Vandercook proof press. All facts and information herein are those available at the time of production, mostly from the ICBL's Landmine Monitor. Thanks to Migs Woodside and the Woodside Sustained Community Service Award for support of this publication and for providing the incentive to execute an idea that had been languishing. Production assistance was provided by Patrick Vincent. There is always more to be done, but I am constantly reminded to be open to the serendipity of past and outside influences in directing my fumbling efforts to be a reasonable citizen. All proceeds from the sale of Landmine Print Project prints and this book are donated to the various organizations that help survivors of work to remove the danger. May this project not only inform and help, but inspire other efforts to witness and protect. It is, after all, one world." -- colophon
