Bright Hill Press
Bright Hill Press is located in Treadwell, New York. Bright Hill Literary Center was begun in 1992, as Word Thursdays, the Catskills reading series. It later incorporated Bright Hill Press, which publishes poetry and interdisciplinary art. The organization offers literary workshops for kids and adults. Its gallery, the Word & Image Gallery, presents interdisciplinary exhibits for several months of the year. This book is a catalog of the Artists' book competition, with illustrations, information about the presses/artists, and artists' statements about their works. "For the fourth year, Bright Hill Press presents the Annual North American Juried Book Arts Competition and Exhibition in the Word & Image Gallery at Bright Hill Center in Treadwell, New York." --taken from the Introduction written by Bertha Rogers.
