"'The Seaweed Journal' was set by hand in foundry and monotype by Barbara Henry and printed on a Vandercook UN-1. The text paper is Zerkall Book; the journal is printed on white Linen Wrapper from Canal Paper in Montreal, Canada. The wood type ornament that closes the journal was made for the book under the direction of Scott Moore at the Ladies of Letterpress conference in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. Diane Schenker helped with editing. Hank Schley introduced me to Johannes Kepler's lunar astronomy 'Somnium', published in 1634." -- colophon
