A letterpress printed broadside, printed in black, advertising the Center for Book Arts. The broadside is illustrated with a reproduction of Albrecht Durer's 1498 woodcut "St. John Devouring the Book", from the "Apocalypse" series. Three states are noted. In the first state, the broadside is printed on Ticonderoga Text paper, with visible chain lines. In the second state, the broadside is printed on a thicker paper, without chain lines. In the third state, the broadside is printed on the same thicker paper, but it has been hand colored. CBA has two copies in the second state, this is copy 1.
