A screen printed broadside, advertising the annual holiday sale and open house at the Center for Book Arts. The broadside is illustrated with illustrations of various hats, placed above each of the decorative letters in the main title, "Book Arts." The colophon reads: "Printed at the Lower East Side Print Shop. Poster: Adrienne Weiss." Three states are noted: In the first state, the text and illustrations are printed with blue ink. In the second state, the text and illustrations are printed with a subtle gradiation of blue and green ink. In the third state, the text and illustrations are printed with a more high contrast gradiation of blue and green ink. CBA has five copies, this is copy 1, the first of two copies in the first state.
