Eduardo Paolozzi
Harry N. Abrams, Inc.
A collection of the works of Eduardo Paolizzi. "Born inn Edinburg in 1924 of Italian parents, Paolozzi studied at the Edinburgh School of Fine art and later at the Slade School of Fine Art in London. From 1947 to 1950 he lived in PAris, where he met Tristan Tzara and Giacometti and became interested in the iron sculpture of Picasso. He soon became attracted to Dadaism and Surrealism, which helps explain his theory that 'the history of mankind could be written with objects". -- from book jacket.
