Gesso and white paint on cardboard. Unique. Sculpture. On the onestar press website it's made to look like the artwork is intended to be hung on the wall.

At the time of their publication, these books allowed their owner to be in the presence of a true work of art for small amounts of US Dollars, French Francs, German Marks, Italian Liras or English Pounds.
For onestar, the artist has excavated a few of those brilliant volumes and scattered them on the floor of his Berlin studio. He then cut cardboard to precisely simulate the thickness and dimensions of the books and used these replicas to create eighteen different compositions, assembled with white glue and covered in gesso and white paint.
