"This book was conceived by Barbara Henry, Mark Johnson and Karen Karbiener, co-teachers of 'The Art of the Book in America.' Their students chose the poems and designed the book's appearance. The course, offered at NYU in Spring 2007, introduced students to poets who cared about the page, and to the fundamentals of letterpress printing."--Front matter.
