Offset, double side printed accordion book that consists of a combination of alternating black and white photographic imagery overlaid with color lithographed text in both German and English. The text quotes verbatum the title and first verse of a hymm written by German theologian, Martin Luther, "Ein' Feste Berg ist Unser Gott/ Our God is a Mighty Fortress"; the text is read sequentially as the reader advances through the book. Book is held closed by a printed black paper band that displays the title, maker and date of creation.
English text: "Martin Luther 1529/ A bulwark never failing/Our Helper Amid the Flood/Of Mortal Ills Prevailing: For Still Our Ancient Foe Doth Seek To Work Us Woe; His Craft and Power/ And Armed With Cruel Hate, ON EARTH IS NOT HIS EQUAL".
